goal so, what's my point? First and foremost, I'm an audiophile. I love
music, always have and always will. So it comes as no surprise that my
hobbies include things like recording and reproducing music. I play
a little too, but not very well.
On this site, you'll read up on gear and
techniques used for making and playing back two channel stereo recordings.
Mostly aimed at the concert taper, the site can also be a quick reference
for those looking to get started with field recording for any
purpose. ENG (electronic news gathering) orientated readers might find reviews
on commonly used gear helpful in their purchasing decisions. I hope that some
of info gathered pays off for someone out there in the cyber-audience.

Reviews! I'm writing again. lots of
new products to catch up on, including;

New product alert.... I will try and link to
current BLOGs and REVIEWS that are poping up everywhere. When i get
these items in
hand, i'll offer up my thoughts. Most exciting things here look to be the
new Sony and the under development Church Audio transformer pre. I hope it
looks like Optimus Prime !
Sony PCM-D50 the little brother to the
D1. Under $500 ! Lots of great features. The bit
bucket we've been waiting for ? we'll see.
